Jim Estes Golf is transforming the way golf is taught through a PGA TOUR proven system that guarantees lower scores and more enjoyment of the game. The Jim Estes Golf improvement system has been developed from the lessons learned that took Jim from never winning a college tournament to the winning on the WEB .com tour and playing PGA TOUR. Jim has taught 32 high school golfers who have gone on to play college golf. Jim has been recognized by Golf Digest as a Top Teacher in Maryland since 2012.
Jim has been named by Golf Magazine as the Innovator of the Year in golf instruction in 2007. Golf Range Association of America has named Jim a top 50 Growth of the Game Instructor from 202 to 2017.

Jim Estes Golf utilizes a holistic approach to coaching instead of focusing just on swing swing mechanics in private lesson package. Jim Estes Golf coaching starts with an initial game assessment. Our students love the feeling of a supportive team environment and come a way with a clear plan of action. A written improvement plan identifying the students golfing goal with a clear path to reach that goal is outlined in a written improvement plan.

Jims Teaching Philosophy:

Jims coaching programs bridge the gap between the range and the course improving scores by addressing such factors such as a physical assessment, a skills assessment, mental approach, and course management. Jim believes that a player should swing according to their body type rather than fighting natural tendencies.

The Middle Atlantic PGA Section, located in Stafford, Virginia, is one of 41 Sections of the Professional Golfers' Association of America, headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The MAPGA provides a wide variety of programs and assistance to promote goodwill and share the game's values not only to their golfing customers, but also to their communities.
