This is a series of 6-week classes course paid for on the first week of class. We will meet in week #1 on the practice putting green at Berkeley Country Club. The instructor will accept cash or check payments during the first week of class.

Kara Cook
Kara Cook is a member of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professionals. Kara came to the Golf Channel Academy with Kelley Brooke after working as a site director of the Nassau County LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program for six years. She is a former physical education instructor and personal trainer who has taken her passion for teaching and staying fit and used it to grow one of the largest Girls Golf programs in the country. Her goal is to assist each student to develop into the best golfer and person they can become. She is a recognized First Tee Coach having completed all three levels of their coach training as well as US Kids Golf certified. Motivated to teach both girls and adult women how much fun the game of golf can be, Kara uses individually based goals, acknowledges different learning preferences, and adds fun games to her lessons and clinic. She wants to help all those hesitant beginners become confident golfers
