Eclipse Golf Academy has junior camps throughout the year designed for all skill levels age 6-14. The goal for these camps is to build a love for golf, as well as learn the fundamentals of every part of the game. Program will be fundamentals clinic based, as students transition through stations each day, covering Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Full Swing and On-Course play.
Program will also have aspects of advanced techniques of Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Distant Wedges, Full Swing, Course Management and Mental Game for intermediate-advanced players.

Shelby Thibodeaux
Since officially starting his teaching career at the famed Hank Haney Golf Ranch in Dallas, TX in 2016, Shelby Thibodeaux has already started making a name for himself. After getting his Associates Degree from the Golf Academy of America, he moved to Houston, TX to pursue his passion for teaching in one of the most prosperous golf communities in the country. Always wanting to learn and grow, Shelby has learned from some of the greatest (names) in the game such as Butch Harmon, Mike McGetrick, Marius Filmater, Hank Haney, Steve Johnson, Steve Bowman, Matt Swanson, Jim Phenicie, and Chris Mayson to name a few. He is currently the Academy Director at WindRose Golf Club. Since joining the club in fall 2018, Shelby created a junior program that grew from zero to 50(+) juniors in (less than) once year. The Academy now has over 300 students. In addition, He has grown the PGA Junior League Program from one to 6 teams, increased summer camp enrollment from six to 24 juniors/camp, taught 3,000+ lessons and was named a 2019, 2021 & 2022 Top 50 US Kids Golf Coach. In 2022 he was awarded the USKG Masters Coach Award. Specializing in developing juniors, he teaches all ages and skill levels.
