About

A program for beginners. Become comfortable playing on the golf course through weekly skill development classes and weekly 9-hole rounds on a short course that helps you progress to the tee box (25 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards, 150 yards). This program focuses on fundamental golf skills necessary to playing golf. Our goal is to set you up for a lifetime of enjoyment!

Jay Zahran

Jay studied Golf Operation under Class A PGA Master Golf Professional, Gordon Fulp, in 1982. Bryan Park in Greensboro, NC 1986-1989 Managed Super Camps, taught golf lessons and also operated the driving range. Cardinal Country Club 1990 Completed 6-month apprenticeship under Class A PGA Professional; successfully passed the PAT and Rules Test. Was the First Assistant Golf Professional; responsible for entire golf operation, pro shop, lessons, tournaments, clinics, junior interclub, club repair, sales, merchandising, club fitting, etc. Forest Oaks Country Club, 1998-2001 Worked with course Superintendent, Dan Winters. PGA Site of the Greater Greensboro Open. In 2003 worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Ocean Ridge Plantation. From 1990-2003 played tournament golf in the Carolinas PGA Section and also participated in the qualifying rounds for the U.S. Open, the Kemper Open and the Greater Greensboro Open.
