Operation 36 is the ongoing program to teach junior golfers how to shoot even par, 36 for nine holes. It consists of of three class sessions per week. The Class will be held Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays at 6:00 PM. New for the Fall is the starting time of 6:00 PM for all sessions. Op36 in October will be taught by David Ogrin. $250 for the month included a practice club membership for the junior golfer. We will go to Landa Park late on Sundays to play a Sunday match. Matches are 6 holes with a target score of 24.

David Ogrin is the Director of Instruction for the David Ogrin Golf Academy and the Lead Coach for the Golf Channel Academy with David Ogrin. David gives instruction at the David Ogrin Golf Academy in New Braunfels, Texas; home of Schlitterbahn, Wurstfest, and the Comal River. DOGA is located at 1357 Wald Rd. New Braunfels, TX 78130. After an almost twenty year career on the PGA Tour where David won three times: 1987 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic, 1989 Chrysler Team Championship, and 1996 Valero Texas Open (where he beat Jay Haas by one and Tiger Woods by two), he has turned his career into coaching golfers of all skill levels. David graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Economics 1980 He has been married over 32 years to his wife Sharon and has four children: Amy, Jessica, Dana, and Clark. Daughter Jessica has two children: Danzig and Pepper. Along with everything else he has done in his life, David is a die hard Chicago Cubs fan and after the Cubs won the 2016 World Series was heard to say, "My life is now complete. I can die in peace."
